Flurp Skillets (real name) is an American singer-songwriter, actor, puppeteer, visual artist, animator, author, and multi-instrumentalist. They have a passion for web design. They are not yet nationally recognized as any of these things, but have big dreams and many art supplies, so hopefully that will take them far.
Flurp has written a number of short stories, including The Dogs of Yesterday and Zoology. They have a novel in the works, entitled Moonbird, which they do not have intentions to publish; it can, however, be read for free on the Plethora of Fantasy Wiki. They are also writing a musical when they have free time.
In addition to novels, Flurp writes and produces music. They play piano, guitar, cello, and also sing; they are a theatre kid and are in musicals whenever they get the chance. Previous roles include Sandy Cheeks (The Spongebob Musical) and the Munchkin Coroner (Wizard of Oz). They are working on a number of music projects, which include an album and their free-time-consuming musical Asteroids!.

Early Life
Flurp was born at a hospital at 4:06 in the morning. They probably screamed. Their parents gave them their name, Flurp Scandinavian Swimmers-Skillets (Swimmers-Skillets is their assigned last name, but they only go by the Skillets part). In their free time, Flurp went my Willet (as in Willet Skillets, a famous willet bird who escaped from the Franklin Park Zoo and lived in Boston Common for a while). Flurp has a younger brother named Durp, but sometimes called Maaple. They had a passion for eggs and frying pans, but not for skillets. They began learning piano at around age 7, and started theatre at age 10. They published their first book on Amazon at 7, and you can still purchase it. I will not, of course, say the name of said book so as not to dox myself, but it's a pretty good book.
Flurp attended a K-8 public school a block away from their house, which was highly convenient. They will attend a 9-12 public high school some more blocks away from their house, which is less convenient. It is supposedly a pretty good school.
Personal Life
Flurp's personal life is still their early life, because they are still pretty young. They have a brother and a mother and also a father; they have no pets, but they would love to have a cat or maybe two. They live in Meeptropolis, a few blocks from both downtown areas. They identify as non-binary and use they/them pronouns.
Career
Early Ventures
At around 7, Flurp was already involved in the artistic world. They began taking commissions for pet portraits from neighbours and their parents' Facebook friends, and also began writing. Their favorite early topics to write (and draw) about where cats and dogs (which seems to have never changed). They wrote and published five books through Amazon self-publishing between the ages of about 7 - 9, and most of these books (if not all) are about cats and dogs. They are all still available for purchase.
